In February, 2009, ABB Electrical Machines Ltd. signed a contract with ZPMC, the top global supplier for harbor crane, to supply variable speed drive motors to a 3K ton shallow-water pipe-laying vessel project. According to the contract, ABB will provide variable speed drive motor for positioning anchor machine and fully revolving floating crane in this project.
