　　我們企業(yè)發(fā)展過程中的里程碑不僅僅在于歷史上幾大重要的轉折點，還在于我們面向未來并始終引領潮流的措施。目前，我們對經營范圍作出了進一步的拓展， 已經進軍了“ 電動汽車”這一新的業(yè)務領域，這也堪稱一大里程碑。早在幾年前，管理層和我們家族就已經在密切磋商有關進軍電動汽車領域的長遠戰(zhàn)略性規(guī)劃，并為之作好了充分的準備，隨著我們成功收購都靈的DMG meccanica，這一規(guī)劃終于塵埃落定。

　　格勞博集團有著清晰的結構拓展規(guī)劃，并且已經準備好迎接未來所面臨的挑戰(zhàn)，而進軍電動汽車領域只是這其中的一個部分而已。我們在系統技術、萬能機床和裝配技術等業(yè)務領域的能力已得到了充分的證明，并在這些領域實現了大量的創(chuàng)新研發(fā)，這保證了我們未來在技術層面仍然能在市場上處于領先地位。隨著裝配車間H13 的順利竣工，我們明德海姆總部的生產面積又增加了37,000 m2。我們在圣保羅設有巴西工廠，并早已在其旁邊收購了一塊地皮，由于我們工廠的面積需要擴增，目前正逐步對這塊地皮邊翻新邊使用。為了擴建我們位于布拉夫頓的北美工廠，我們計劃施工建立一棟新的銷售和食堂大樓。今年年中，一家新的服務和銷售辦事處在底特律正式開幕營業(yè)。印度是一個面向未來的市場，我們將在那里長期設立生產工廠，該工廠將面向服務和本土化經營業(yè)務。此外，我們還在高素質工作崗位方面進行了大量的投資，其吸引了并將不斷吸引開發(fā)人員和工程師的加盟，旨在對未來所面臨技術和工藝方面的挑戰(zhàn)作好準備。

　　動力總成和車身輕量化領域正緊鑼密鼓地進行著技術方面的變革。電動和混合動力驅動裝置的創(chuàng)新研發(fā)已被所有汽車制造商重視，并在全球范圍內得到了大力的推廣。由于各國在政治和法律方面有著極為不同的規(guī)定，因此電動和混合動力汽車推入市場的力度在北美、歐洲、中國都是各不相同的。

　　盡管如此，采用新的技術為生產設備提供正確的創(chuàng)新研發(fā)和工藝，這對格勞博而言仍是非常重要的。這也是我們企業(yè)所面臨的一個巨大挑戰(zhàn)。過去的兩年里，我們進行了深入的研發(fā)工作，除了已在汽車行業(yè)開發(fā)了生產設備的業(yè)務外，還在電動驅動技術和電池存儲技術方面掌握了新的技能，并在該新業(yè)務領域得到了汽車制造商的信任。因此我們能夠在過去的十二個月里開展了多個國際汽車業(yè)的項目，這些項目所涉及的內容均為電動驅動裝置制造用生產設備。

　　在推動這種用于新業(yè)務領域“電動汽車”技術的同時，格勞博還促進了一大批其它非常重要的創(chuàng)新開發(fā)。這其中包括了正處于第六代開發(fā)階段的全新 G 模塊，其適用于單主軸和雙主軸規(guī)格 G 300 和 G 500 的外形尺寸。新的加工中心更加動態(tài)化，并有諸如雙托盤交換裝置之類的附加組件。由于汽車車身和底盤中輕量級零件的數量越來越多，因此我們開發(fā)了專用于框架件和結構件的新型機床。

　　格勞博圍繞新開發(fā)的大型加工中心，拓展了萬能機床產品系列。在裝配技術方面，我們開發(fā)了一種用于裝配變速箱和內燃機這類汽車組件的新型模塊化標準構件。憑借這種標準模塊構件，格勞博將來會更具有競爭力。在軟件技術方面，我們憑借所開發(fā)的GROB-Net4Industry和 HPP (High Performance Programming) 為格勞博開辟了另一大業(yè)務領域。為了能夠實施有著全面測試需求的創(chuàng)新研發(fā)活動，并開展大型生產項目，那么我們必須滿懷積極性和責任心力爭完成要求嚴苛的項目和目標。

　　除了這些技術進步之外，我們在新財政年度的頭幾個月里各種產品的訂單量堪稱優(yōu)異。在接下來的幾個月里，這一趨勢很可能得以延續(xù)。汽車業(yè)的技術變革在很大程度受到法律規(guī)定的影響，還包括國際政治方面的因素，故此要對未來項目的可規(guī)劃性及由此得出的訂單量作出預估是很困難的。由于我們總能夠及時看到這種變革，并提前開始進行各種全方位的創(chuàng)新研發(fā)，所以我們能夠為這種新的情況做足準備。

　　GROB SECURES ITS FUTURE WITH INNOVATIVE TECHNOLOGIES & ENTRYMOBILITY SECTOR INTO THE ELECTRO

　　Dear Business Partners and Friends of GROB,

　　The milestones in our company’s developmentare not just important highlights in our history. They are also key initiativesthat have continuously helped shape the future of our company. We have now reached another of these milestones with the addition of our new “Electromobility” business field to our portfolio. This strategic move into the e-mobility sector had been planned for a long time. The company‘s management had been working closely with our family for many years to lay the groundwork for this step and the move has now been successfully completed with the acquisition of DMG meccanica in Torino.

　　The move to the electromobility sector is just one part of the GROB Group’s clearly structured expansion strategy and its preparations to face future challenges. A host of new developments are currently being implemented in our traditional business fields of system engineering, universal machines and assembly technology – all of which will enable us to remain a technology leader in the market as we move forward. The new assembly hall H13, for example, has given us an extra 37,000 m2 of production space at our headquarters in Mindelheim.

　　At our Brazilian factory in S?o Paulo, we purchased an adjacent plot of land with assembly halls some time ago and are now gradually renovating these buildings and using them to expand our activities from our existing factory. In addition to this, we are also expanding our North American plant in Bluffton and plan to build new sales offices and a canteenat the site. A new service and distribution branch was opened in Detroit in the middle of this year. In the growth market of India, we will be building a production hall for service and localization over the long term. We also invested in additional, highly-qualified positions for developers and engineers and will continue to do this to ensure we are in a strong position to capitalize on future technologies and processes.

　　All of these initiatives and investments in our factories, our employees and also in innovative technology and expertise reflect our commitment as a family-owned business to continue doing everything in our power to ensure that GROB-WERKE remains a reliable employer for you, our employees, and a strong, successful partnerto our customers.

　　DEAR COLLEAGUES,

　　The technology used in powertrains and light-weight chassis construction in the automotive sector is changing rapidly. Across the globe, car manufacturers are rapidly driving forward innovations in electric and hybrid drives. Due to major differences in political and legal legislation in countries across the world, the speed at which electric and hybrid cars are being launched varies significantly from North America through Europe to China.

　　Despite this situation, it is crucial that GROB delivers the right innovations and processes for production systems implementing new technologies. This is a huge challenge for our company. We have carried out intensive development work here over the last two years and have been able to expand our established business in production systems for the automotive sector and acquire new skills and expertise in production systems for electric drive technology and battery storage technology. We have also won over car manufacturers,who see us as a trusted partner in this new business field.

　　Subsequently, in the past twelve months we have already concluded numerous projects in the international automotive sector for production systems capable of manufacturing electric drives.

　　Parallel to these technologies in the new ?electromobility“ business field, GROB has advanced a number of further, very important new developments. These include the new sixth generation G-modules for the G300 and G500 versions in single- and dual-spindle models. The new machining centers are even more dynamic and have been equipped with additional components such as a double pallet changer. We have developed new machines for frame and structural components in response to the continual rise in lightweight components in car bodies and chassis.

　　GROB has expanded its universal machine series to include two new large-scale machining centers. In the field of assembly technology, we have set up a new modular structure for the assembly of vehicle transmissions and combustion engines. This standard modular structure will significantly increase GROB‘s competitive position in the future. In software technology, we have entered a new business field with our GROB-NET4Industry and High Performance Programming (HPP) developments. We would not have been able to implement these new developments and extensive tests or handle the enormous productionprogram without you, our employees, and your motivation and commitment to mastering the challenging projects and goals we face. In addition to this progress on the technology front, we also achieved outstanding order intake figures across all product areas in the first months of the new fiscal year. We strongly believe that this will continue over the coming months.

　　The technological changes in cars together with the strong impact of legal regulations plus additional international political influences make it more difficult for us to reliably plan future projects and, subsequently, forecast order intake. However, our decision to address these changes in good time and develop an extensive range of new developments early on, means that we are perfectly prepared to deal with these new situations.
